Process Summary
- Export proper mix files (guidelines listed below).
- Upload the files and include any important notes (versions needed, deadlines, references).
- Submit mastering payment.
- Masters are delivered to you via email.
- Your 20% payout is sent to the payout method you provided.
Files Needed for Each Song
• 1 WAV – Mixed Instrumental (-6 dB)
• 1 WAV – Mixed Vocals (-6 dB)
• 1 MP3 – Full reference mix or previous master (as is)
- Bypass/remove any effects/plugins on your master channel. Keep mix FX.
- Both WAVs peak no higher than -6 dB. No clipping. Leave MP3 reference as is.
- Label clearly (e.g. “Song - Instrumental 80bpm.wav”).
- If you’re unable to provide separate instrumental and acapella files, we can still master from a single WAV file.
Please note: There is often a significant difference between the sound of the mix and the sound of the master. The mixed version you’re used to may be transformed and greatly enhanced through mastering. There is no greater level than a LASTLVL mastered version :)
